Madeline’s Sweet Spa: Activities, Favors and Shopping Resources

The party activities doubled as favors for the guests.  This year we kept the party very small with 6 girls.  It allowed me to really personalize the party and they went home with a ton of Sweet Spa Goodies.  When the girls arrived they found a white spa robe and white slippers ready to personalize.  I sewed hot pink buttons to both the robe and slippers for the girls to then choose from several different fabric flower shapes to “button” on and create their own flower accessory.  It was a really simple and easy craft to do and the girls loved creating their own spa outfit.  Next they alternated between Chocolate Facials and getting a Manicure with Kid-Friendly Piggy Paint.  After all of their pampering they relaxed in the “Relaxation Lounge” on hot pink towels and DIY neck roll pillows.  After the girls had their Beauty Brunch they started their final activity of filling their own personalized jars of “Whipped Cream Bubbles” that I made and put into pre-filled into piping bags.  They got such a kick out of making their own special foaming bath cream.  When it was time to leave they got to fill up a bag full of homemade lip balm, bubble bath, their whipped cream bubble jars, a beautiful cookie from JP Creatibles and their choice of bath puff.  I tied them off with a name tag and thank you tag and they got to take home their robe and slippers.

The Birthday Girl giggling with her friends…

I cannot tell you how amazing these cookies were in person!!!!

Madeline’s Sweet Spa Party

I am so excited to finally share my Madeline’s Sweet Spa Party in celebration of her 6th Birthday!!

The birthday girl went back and forth over what kind of party to have this year and ultimately decided on a Spa Party.  Since she has such a sweet tooth it evolved into a “Sweet Spa”!  She helped me make all of the spa products we had and picked out all of the yummy scents like Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum, Grape Soda, Chocolate Cake, Cake Batter and Watermelon.  Her favorite color is Hot Pink and with Turquoise as a close second, those paired with Crisp White and Pale Gray gave her Sweet Spa a sweet and clean look.

Sweet Spa Invitation

I had so much fun designing the invitations and coordinating party details. The Sweet Spa Gift Certificates are doubled sided and printed on a beautiful white heavy shimmer card stock and a pretty pink shimmer envelope with coordinating address labels wraps.  All of the food had coordinating food cards and jar labels.  Throughout the party I had various party signs that were framed for the Manicures, Chocolate Facials and the Relaxation Lounge.  There were also stickers & favor tags designed for the crafts and favors.  (All of the items will be available in my Etsy Shoppe in both Custom Printed and Printable Versions!)

To keep with the clean feel of a spa the tables had white linens, a pale grey polka dot table runner and custom cardstock placemats .  Each place setting had a Custom Wrapped Water Bottles and grey striped paper straws with each guests name on it and a sweet little jeweled mirror.  The centerpieces were kept simple with clear glass vases filled with bath puffs!!

Since both the treats and the favors all centered around Sweets, I decided to combine them together into one table.  The amazing Bubble Bath cookies were done by Jen of JP Creatibles.  The homemade cake balls were placed in a sweet little hot pink bath tub and the cake was from Whole Foods (This ended up having to be a last minute replacement!!).  I made the little pink meringues and they ended up tasting like Cotton Candy!!  The rest of the table was part of their favors and activity.  The apothecary jars were filled with white sugar and held the homemade lip balm.  The bubble bath and the “whipped cream bubbles” jars were set up on the Bubble Bar ready for the girls to fill up with their choice yummy scents.

Since we had the party in the morning we went with a “Beauty Brunch” featuring a Cereal Bar, bagels, fruit salad, the Birthday Girl’s favorite petite vanilla scones from Starbucks and yummy Strawberry Soup Smoothies!!

Next up is the Activities, Favors and Shopping Resources!
